Bijan Robinson talked postgame about the importance of staying off social media as losses stack up.

ATLANTA Running back Bijan Robinson made it abundantly clear after the Atlanta Falcons lost 30-27 to the Carolina Panthers in Week 11 that his teammates need to stay off social media.
"It's just controlled by the devil," Robinson said. "If it gets in this locker room, that's what divides locker rooms. I've seen it. It shuts guys down."
And he doesn't want that to happen in Atlanta.
"I can't let it happen," Robinson said. "I'm not going to let it happen. I'm going to do as much as I can to eliminate all that stuff. If I have to say it in front of the whole team, I'll do it. Because if that's what it takes, that's what it takes right now. It might be uncomfortable for me, because I'm more of a lead-by-example type of guy, but I hope my words and I pray that my words are going to affect these guys in the best way possible."
It's worth a try.
The Falcons have now lost five games in a row, the latest dropping their record to 3-7 and essentially squashing any playoff hopes.According to the New York Times simulator, Atlanta has less than a 1% chance of making the postseason after Sunday's loss.
"Don't even worry about the playoff picture," Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier said. "It's just winning 1-0, and everything will play its part."
Seven games remain on the 2025 schedule.
"Obviously there's expectations to win games," Falcons right guard Chris Lindstrom said. "People are frustrated, which is understandable. We got to get it right."
That's been a common refrain the past few weeks, especially on offense. The first half of Sunday's loss to the Panthers showed promise that some kind of turnaround could take place. The Falcons built a 21-10 lead powered by 163 yards passing from an efficient Michael Penix Jr. and 94 yards rushing with two touchdowns from Robinson and one from Allgeier. But then, Atlanta's inconsistency flared in the second half and allowed Carolina to catch up on the scoreboard. After their hot start, the Falcons were held to just 27 yards rushing and 60 yards passing in the final two quarters.
In overtime, the Falcons went three-and-out, picking up a total of 4 yards.
Of course, fans are and have been upset.
"Shoot, we play for you guys," Allgeier said. "Like we don't plan on losing. We just come short. We love the fans. We love when they're here. We play for them. Hopefully, they're here for us when we're down as well."
The current losing streak would qualify as down.
Surely there are Falcons fans who remain supportive. The issue is, those who aren't tend to be the loudest. And everyone has a platform nowadays.
"If you have Mr. Cream on social media talking about you, (saying) you're not good enough and you're not producing, do you listen to that?" Robinson said. "That's going to affect your whole mentality. I've seen plenty of guys get into that position, and it just kills them."
Again, that's what Robinson is trying to prevent.
"As a leader, (I'm) trying to instill confidence in them every single day and bringing positivity into the building," Robinson said. "That's the biggest thing. Because it happens a lot of when teams are in this position; it just spirals because they just focus on the wrong stuff."
Said Allgeier: "That's the key thing: Not worrying about outside the building. Just making sure we're great within."
No one coaches or players alike has expressed any concern about the locker room not sticking together. That stands true after Sunday's loss.
Those are the opinions that matter most in their eyes anyway.
"Who cares," Allgeier said, "what sheep say to a lion?"
