Atlanta will face Carolina on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET inside Bank of America Stadium.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. For the second week in a row, the Atlanta Falcons will be playing in another team's home opener.

The Falcons (1-1) did so in Week 2,beating the Minnesota Vikingsat U.S. Bank Stadium, and now Atlanta travels to the Carolina Panthers (0-2) for a Week 3 chance to do the same at Bank of America Stadium.

While the Falcons have already faced one NFC South opponentthe Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1the Panthers have not. This will be Carolina's first divisional game.

Last season, the Falcons and Panthers split their two-game series. Atlanta won in Carolinain Week 6but lostin Week 18in overtime at home.
