Fox lifts Kings over Pistons for sixth straight win

WASHINGTON, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- De'Aaron Fox had 33 points and seven assists to help the Sacramento Kings extend their winning streak in the NBA to six games with a 137-129 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Sunday night.

Fox scored 10 points in the fourth quarter, including a pair of free throws that gave Sacramento a six-point lead with 22.6 seconds left. Harrison Barnes made two free throws with 14.6 seconds remaining to seal the victory for the Kings, who have won eight of their last 10 games after losing four matches in a row at the beginning of the season.

Barnes finished with a season-high 27 points with nine rebounds.

Kevin Durant scored 26 points to lead the Brooklyn Nets to a 127-115 home win against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Ben Simmons scored a season-high 22 points for the Nets while Kyrie Irving returned from his suspension with 14 points.

Dillon Brooks notched 31 points to lead the Grizzlies, who were playing without Ja Morant, Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr.

In Houston, Klay Thompson scored a season-high 41 points and Steph Curry added 33 as the Golden State Warriors collected their first road win of the season over the Rockets 127-120.

Andrew Wiggins made six 3-pointers on 11 attempts to score 22 points for the Warriors, who have won five of their last seven games following a 3-7 start.

In Phoenix, Cameron Payne scored 21 points, Devin Booker added 20 as the Suns beat the New York Knicks 116-95.

Elsewhere, the Cleveland Cavaliers trounced the Miami Heat 113-87, the Washington Wizards beat the Charlotte Hornets 106-102, the Denver Nuggets nipped the Dallas Mavericks 98-97 and the Los Angeles Lakers eased past the San Antonio Spurs 123-92.
