Chef Paul Verica expects to invest $800,000 to move his farm-to-table restaurant concept to Charlotte.

Heritage Food Drink will to close in Waxhaw later this year ' though an exact timetable isn't set yet. Plans are to reopen in a prime location in Charlotte's Elizabeth neighborhood by the end of the year, Verica says.

It will occupy the former Crisp space at the corner of Seventh Street and Pecan Avenue.
